• STEWART L. STOVER, JR., M.S., P.G. - PRINCIPAL HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Stover, who received both a bachelor's and master's degree of Science in Geosciences from Northeast Louisiana University, has over thirty-one (31) years of experience in conducting detailed environmental assessments and remediation studies for soils and groundwater, along with surface and subsurface geological investigations in the Southeast, Gulf Coast, and Rocky Mountains of the United States. As Senior Hydrogeologist with a large environmental consulting firm in Florida and South Carolina, he conducted and authored numerous technical reports on carbonate and clastic multi-aquifer systems; environmental and contaminate hydrogeology; numerical modeling of groundwater flow; groundwater monitoring programs; and landfill placement, permitting, and monitoring. He was also retained as the consulting hydrogeologist for several municipalities in the state of Florida, in charge of choosing well field locations and determining water quality and aquifer characterization, as well as in the evaluation and development of areas for environmentally sound landfills. • WADE A. PIGOTT, M.S., P.G. - SENIOR HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Pigott, who received both a bachelor's and master's degree of Science in Geosciences from Northeast Louisiana University, joined Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. in 1993 and has been managing the Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Investigation program since that time by both conducting and supervising others performing investigations. Additionally, he is responsible for developing subsurface investigation plans and budgets to address identified environmental concerns and/or potential concerns, as identified during visual site inspections for various commercial and industrial sites, including manufacturing, farming, oil field, and fuel storage facilities (aboveground and underground). • DONALD J. WATTS, B.S., P.G. - SENIOR HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Watts received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) in 1989. He began his professional career as a Geologist with a soil testing and well drilling and installation firm and has hands-on knowledge of various types of drilling rigs and equipment, along with appropriate well construction and installation methods. Upon joining Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. in 1991, Mr. Watts has been in charge of drilling rig equipment procurement and operations, serves as the signature authority for Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc.’s Water Well Contractor license WWC #416, and is extremely knowledgeable of the LADOTD and LDEQ Regulations concerning wells and geotechnical borings.See more


• BRENT T. POOLER, B.S., P.G. - PRINCIPAL RISK ANALYST/SENIOR HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Pooler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 1996 with a concentration in Environmental Geology and joined Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. shortly thereafter.

Mr. Pooler has over twenty (20) years of experience in conducting hydrogeologic investigations and implementation of soil and groundwater restoration plans. Additionally, he has over eighteen (18) years of experience in conducting risk assessments in the states of Louisiana and Texas where he maintains accreditations as a Professional Geoscientist (LA #274, TX #6012). Mr. Pooler also offers litigation support through presentation of data and/or testimony, with courts qualifying him as an expert in the fields of geology, hydrogeology, remediation, implementation of regulations (LDNR Statewide Order 29-B, LDEQ RECAP), and risk assessment. • CRAIG E. CORMIER, B.S., P.G., CEP - SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Mr. Cormier received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from McNeese State University in 1997 and upon completion of his degree, joined HET as an Environmental Scientist. He has extensive experience in all field aspects, including environmental assessment, remediation, drilling, sampling, and well installations. He is responsible for the planning and coordination of field crew activities for the firm and is an experienced Project Manager for numerous Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, including UST facilities, dry cleaning facilities, various commercial facilities, oilfield production facilities, and large tracts, including farmlands and woodlands. • MATTHEW L. GREENE, B.S.- ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Mr. Greene obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, with a concentration in soil and water from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2015. Mr. Greene's course work and experience have allowed him to obtain an Associate Professional Soil Scientist (APSS) certification (Cert. #495789) with the Soil Science Society of America. He has extensive experience in wetland delineation and has mapped wetlands throughout the state of Louisiana under the direction of former Louisiana State Soil Scientists while completing his degree. Currently, Mr. Greene serves as project manager for wetland delineations, coastal zone permitting, and root zone remedial studies across the state of Louisiana. Mr. Greene also conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in conjunction with staff licensed Professional Geologist/Geoscientist, and has investigated various properties in Louisiana and Texas, including oilfield locations, agricultural farmlands, and commercial service companies, many of which are coupled with wetland delineations.


• R. JUDE BAUDOIN, B.S. - ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST/GIS SPECIALIST/CORPORATE SAFETY MANAGER

Mr. Baudoin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Sustainable Resources, with a concentration in soil and water conservation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in 2005 and joined our company in 2008. While attending ULL, Mr. Baudoin worked as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) support intern through the USGS for the Lafayette Parish Tax Assessor.

He is currently involved with all aspects of field operations, such as soil and groundwater sampling, drilling of soil borings and monitor wells, and installation and maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems. He is also in charge of developing numerous U.S. Coast Guard Facility Response Plans, Security Plans, and Best Management Practices Plans for facilities along the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Texas. In addition, Mr. Baudoin operates and generates the HET GIS mapping programs and creates maps in-house for a wide range of projects from soil and groundwater assessment to litigation support projects.

Mr. Baudoin also provides assistance with the safety aspect of the company. He is the company’s Safety Manager and is in charge of the monthly safety meetings. He provides safety documentation in the field, along with the production of Site Specific Health and Safety Plans (SSHASP), HS&E documentation, and One Call Tickets for field projects. Mr. Baudoin’s goal is to make sure everyone goes home safe and sound each day.


• KENNETH J. CHAMPAGNE - DIRECTOR OF FIELD OPERATIONS

Mr. Champagne serves as HET’s Director of Field Operations and has over twenty (20) years of experience in conducting environmental drilling, environmental sampling, and remedial design and system installation.

Mr. Champagne has extensive knowledge of direct push technology and has conducted soil sampling to a depth of 115 feet below land surface. He has drilled and sampled in numerous geologic conditions and provided all expertise in sampling during litigation investigations of soil and groundwater. He operates the Geoprobe Drilling Rig Model 6712 and received his driller and drill rig operation training at Geoprobe headquarters in Salina, Kansas.

Mr. Champagne manages and supervises all quarterly groundwater monitoring programs for HET in the states of Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado. In addition, Mr. Champagne has designed and implemented numerous soil and groundwater treatment systems. These groundwater treatment systems combine technologies to effectively remediate a wide variety of constituents in soil and groundwater to regulatory standards.

Mr. Champagne has an LDEQ NORM Survey license and has conducted NORM surveys at numerous sites throughout Louisiana and Texas.


• DEREK J. BROUSSARD, B.S., P.G. - HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Broussard received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in 2008. During his junior and senior years in the Geology program at ULL, Mr. Broussard worked as an intern for an Oil and Gas Exploration Company, where he performed various research assignments regarding oil and gas activities and completed a subsurface investigation project, which included the production of subsurface structure maps, production history, and cross sections describing subsurface conditions.

Mr. Broussard currently performs Phase I Environmental Site Assessments under supervision of a licensed Professional Geologist, soil and groundwater sampling for limited subsurface investigations, groundwater sampling for groundwater monitoring events, and compiles field and laboratory data into a final report describing the conditions of the site. Mr. Broussard conducts detailed research at the LDNR and other government agencies regarding development and production activities of historical oilfields. He also develops geologic cross sections and geologic maps of areas investigated to illustrate subsurface conditions. Mr. Broussard is a licensed Professional Geoscientist in Louisiana (#660).


• C. AARON GARCIA, B.S. - HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Garcia received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2012 and joined HET in 2012. During his freshman year in the Geology program at LSU, Mr. Garcia worked as a student research assistant in the Geology department where he was part of a research team that travelled to the Ross Sea, Antarctica to collect seismic and Multibeam data, along with ocean floor sediment samples. Mr. Garcia has conducted detailed geological investigations of both Quaternary and Tertiary sediments in Central Louisiana, occurring at depths of up to 300 feet below land surface.

Mr. Garcia currently conducts Phase II Environmental Site Investigations and groundwater site assessments. He performs soil and groundwater sampling for hydrogeological investigations and groundwater sampling for groundwater monitoring events. He compiles field and laboratory data into a final hydrogeological report describing the conditions of the site. In addition, Mr. Garcia researches geologic logs and develops geologic cross sections and maps of areas investigated to determine geologic conditions through GIS mapping. Mr. Garcia is a licensed Professional Geoscientist in Training in Louisiana (#006) and is working to obtain his P.G.


• DARRYRL C. CARROLL, B.S. - HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Carroll received a bachelor's degree in Geology in 2012 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Geology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL). Mr. Carroll’s master’s thesis involves developing a finite difference groundwater flow model of a selected aquifer in southeast Louisiana. Mr. Carroll joined Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. in 2012, and he currently performs soil boring and groundwater well installations and geologic borehole descriptions, as well as aquifer testing and data analysis to determine aquifer characteristics. Mr. Carroll also compiles field and laboratory data into detailed hydrogeological reports. In addition, Mr. Carroll conducts Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, performs site assessments, and conducts detailed research for hydrogeological projects. He also develops geologic cross sections and geologic maps of areas investigated to determine geologic conditions through GIS mapping.


• RYAN LEONARDS, B.S. - HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Leonards received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017 and joined HET shortly thereafter. He began his professional career as an intern for an oil and gas exploration company in South Louisiana where he gained experience in interpreting and correlating electronic well logs, creating subsurface geological maps, such as structure maps, isopach maps, and cross sections and interpreting seismic data. Mr. Leonards currently assists in installation of borings and monitor wells by providing geological descriptions and conducts research and interpretations of geologic well logs for assessments of historical oil fields.


• TODD R. WEBB, M.S. - HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Webb received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Lamar University (LU) in 2012 and his Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) in 2016. During his Master’s degree at UTD, Mr. Webb studied the Lower Mountain Fork Watershed in southeast Oklahoma, defining its hydrologic characteristics using WMS and HEC-HMS software. While attending LU, Mr. Webb collected data using a gravimeter from the Sour Lake Salt Dome in Hardin County, Texas, and subsequently created a 2D model and a contoured gravity map using ArcGIS and GM-SYS software. Mr. Webb joined Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. in January 2017 and currently assists in hydrogeological assessments, including collection of samples and borehole logging, and prepares geologic maps and cross sections to determine the overall geologic settings using ArcGIS and RockWorks software.


• ERIC MONTESANO, B.S. - HYDROGEOLOGIST

Mr. Montesano received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology with a concentration in petroleum from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in May of 2017. Mr. Montesano’s education focused on subsurface geological mapping, geophysical surveying techniques, well correlation and log interpretation and he was hired as an intern during college to conduct well log and fault integration and directional drilling mapping. Mr. Montesano joined HET in October of 2017, and currently assists in hydrogeological assessments, including logging of boreholes, collection of samples, preparation of geologic maps, and development of cross sections to assist the group in determining the overall geologic setting of project sites, including computer mapping and data management using ArcGIS and RockWorks software.


• SYDNEY M. MANUEL, B.S. - ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Ms. Manuel received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, with a concentration in Environmental Quality, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May 2017. During her Senior year in the Environmental Science program at ULL, Ms. Manuel worked as an intern for the LSU Agricultural Center, where she researched permitting laws for coastal wetlands remediation and worked as an assistant to the director of Marsh Maneuvers. Ms. Manuel joined Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. shortly after graduation and currently assists in tabulation and data review, including quality control evaluation, of analytical data for soil, sediment, and groundwater samples. She also prepares final data tables for and assists in final report preparation.


• LANCE J. VINCENT, B.G.S. - SENIOR FIELD TECHNICIAN

Mr. Vincent received his Bachelor of General Studies degree in 2006 from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Since joining HET in 2007, he has been responsible for conducting the field portion of hydrogeological assessments and remedial operations. He collects soil, soil gas, storm water, surface water, and groundwater samples on a routine basis. Mr. Vincent conducts drilling operations associated with the installation of soil borings, piezometers, soil vapor wells, and monitor wells. He also maintains Hydro-Environmental Technology, Inc. remediation systems operating in the Gulf Coast.


• MARCUS N. JACKSON - FIELD TECHNICIAN

Mr. Jackson received his Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2015. Since joining HET in May 2016, he has been responsible for conducting various field activities involving hydrogeological assessments and remedial operations. His duties include data collection and sampling of storm waters and surface waters for evaluation and permitting, and soil and groundwater sampling for site assessments and monitoring. Mr. Jackson conducts drilling and sampling operations associated with the installation of soil borings, piezometers, soil vapor wells, monitor wells, and recovery wells. He also provides various field services for assessment and remedial operations, including direct-push drilling, well development, measurements and applications of soil amendments, and other remedial support.


• EMILY O. PASS , B.A. - TECHNICAL EDITOR

In 1997 Ms. Pass started with the company part time as Project Manager of LA Motor Fuels Trust Fund applications while working on her Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She transitioned into a full time employee and in 2001 received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is responsible for all technical editing of HET documents, including expert reports. She is currently in charge of clerical services, including editing plans and proposals, technical report organization and presentation, word processing, database maintenance, and office organization. She has a working knowledge of computer programs, such as WordPerfect and Microsoft Word.


• FRANCES M. HENSON – TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR

In 2013, Ms. Henson joined HET as a Technical Administrator. She graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is a Notary Public for the Parish of St. Martin. In addition to handling all of the Accounts Receivable, she is also in charge of LA Motor Fuels Trust Fund applications and reimbursement applications, office organization, and office manager. Currently, Ms. Henson serves as the Technical Administrator for numerous litigation matters in the states of Louisiana and Texas in which she provides litigation support services.


• KAREN B. JUDICE, B.S. - CONTROLLER

Ms. Judice received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) (ULL) in 1980. Ms. Judice joined HET as Controller in 2018, bringing over thirty-five (35) years of experience. She is in charge of the monthly preparation of financial statements, accounts payable, payroll, job costs, sales tax returns, 401K retirement plan administration, professional liability insurance administration, and yearly tax planning. She has a working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting. She is proficient in numerous computer programs, such as Excel, Word, and COINS OA.
